I had 2 finishes last week :)
I am on a patriotic tear, and the "American Spot Sampler" from The Drawn Thread was a perfect stitch for the holiday weekend....
I changed the fabric to Lakeside Linen Vintage Pear, and the threads to GAST Shaker series, for a more vintage look.
... and of course I had to stitch "Queen Bee" from Little House Needleworks, because I am the Queen Bee around these parts. tee hee
Diane kills me & my wallet with her little charts- I love every one- and am going to do the The Two Roosters next, after I work out the changes in thread and fabric, to my more faded and vintage-y tastes.
I am working on a several other things, so more updates later this week, as well as cool flea market and Freecycle stuff, aaaaaaaaaaand...
I AM slowly working on a stash for sale pile, as I dig my way out from under the heaps in the spare room.

Here is the feline overlord in all his glory :)
He is a unique little soul, and has lots of quirks!
He has the foofiest, softest fur- sort of like a bunny only a bit coarser... and I am trying to get a good pic of his points as they are becoming more distinct- a lovely grey-purplish shade, especially the one coming in on his formerly pure white belly.
Here kitty, kitty!
He is a unique little soul, and has lots of quirks!
- he gets fresh spring water in his bowl- he prefers to lick the tub after we shower (eww)
- he plays fetch like a puppy, and puts his toy in strategic places so we will see it and know he wants to play.
- he chews paper and cardboard like a puppy
- he loves to lick our hands and faces like a ... well, you know!
- he talks constantly in the cutest high pitched voice
- he loooooves to have his belly scritched (with FC, you risked pulling back a shredded hand. heh)

... and still alive. LOL
I have been super busy plus have torn cartilage in my right knee (woo-hoo for yet more Physical Therapy. ugh)
but I am still around (and stitching), as well as trying to get organized enough to put even more goodies into my feeble little sale blog.
So, back later this week with more news and PIX! including pix of Mr Smudge :)
